Volunteer project day

President elect Barack Obama asked citizens to volunteer Jan 19th for a service project in your community. Nory and I went to a park in Seattle near the University to help clear out weeds, branches, and brush; turning them into compost piles. This area had been over run with fallen branches, ivy and blackberry bushes, making it a jungle like terrain.
