Oh so beautiful

Thursday we went driving around for photo ops. The trees, shrubs, creeks, hillsides were so fascinating with the frost.

Frost crystals on top of snow
A pretty creek and hillside
Weeping Willow so beautiful with white frost branches

It was foggy with the sun trying to peak through. This is the backyard of the new house Joe and Angie are building. With the fogs/sun/snow I thought maybe it looked like Mars.
These next 5 pictures were also taken at the building site.

Hard to believe this is frost on the trees!
This is the frost on twigs, but it could pass for cotton balls.

I thought this was so interesting the way the frost crystals formed on the icicles on the barn roof with the frosted tree next to it

SLOW DOWN! We saw this deer next to the road, then while scanning the area we saw more.
Hard to see them all, but there are 5

We were once again driving around Moscow looking at all the new houses and stopped at the Medieval Castle where this fowl was walking around.

We had dinner at a Mexican restaurant (oh I do love Mexican food) with Altan, Erin, Christian, Cheyenne, and Brooklyenne along with Janel, Lar, Morgan, and Haley. I had a great time, and fell in love with them all. Sure wish I had taken a group shot. For someone who loves taking pictures and is never without a camera I don't know what I was thinking about not getting all these group photos, except I didn't want to embarass anyone.

After dinner I watched JD play hockey with 'The Old Timers' - obviously not all so old! No pix of today's hockey, but you can scroll down and see last nights hockey pictures.
